Cadence

Oh my poor Cadence. He is a vampire...well now, he wasn't born that way. As a boy, he lived in a very well to do vampire home as a serving boy. The master of<img src="cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/…"> the house was most fond of him, and treated him much more like a son then a slave. As one might imagine, this treatment, and favoritism, was not appreciated by the master's true son. Cadence was gifted with a sweet voice, and could sing like an angel, which he happily did so for his master. Well, after years of being out-shined by a mere slave in his father's eyes, the son tore out Cadence's vocal cords, and had meant to kill him. Thank god the master was right there, and was able to save the poor boy by turning him....but sadly, the damage to his throat had been done, and left him mute. The master cast his son out and declared Cadence his heir. Now, as a vampire, he speaks through thought, but mostly, he just gestures, and uses expression. He owns a music box shop, and in his free time, he and his elf friend May show off their pets at shows. 
I plan to have him and his friends in a short story series ^_^
